Are Linux Virtual Box Clients still usable in Linux if they reside on a NTFS partition?

I need to know if a Linux VirtualBox client installs can live on an NTFS partition and still be used by Linux.

Basically I am going to move things around, and change my /home from /dev/sdb3 to /dev/sda3 and make my old /home my data storage for all of my MP3's and everything else.

I need to take my old /home and change it into NTFS for my mp3s and iTunes, seeings how I have over 500GB of mp3's and I want to put them onto my Laptop so I do not have to plug in an external all of the time.

I have to move things around. I just need to know where I can store my virtualbox clients. if they are still compatiable on a NTFS partition or not so I can allow space somewhere for them too.

The client created by VB is just another file, like a word document. So irrelevant of what file system you copy it to it will still be the same file.

Have I understood your question or are you asking something else?
