archlinux installing nvidia driver

I'm currently installing archlinux and would like to install the apropriate driver for my nvidia graphic card on my Dell precision M65.

The driver I'd like to install is this driver.

My problem is I do not know the exact command required to install said graphic driver, but What I do know is that I need to type something along the lines of
Code:
pacman -S xf86-video-your_video_card
correct?

###also
I have finished processing the commands pacman -S nvidia nvidia-utils & have setup default nvidia-xconfig.

Thanks for all the help,
James

You should already have the xorg driver module for Nvidia cards. Check for the file usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/nvidia_drv.so -- if you have it, the xorg driver is there. The nvidia package installs it along with the kernel module, so there is no xf86-video-nvidia package.

There is a xf86-video-nv package, but it's 2D only. There's also a xf86-video-nouveau package, but gaming performance with that driver isn't very good right now... the nouveau kernel module is included with the standard kernel if you want to check it out. *shrug*

The driver you want to install is NVidia's proprietary driver, not the open source one. So the xf86-video-XXXX naming scheme doesn't apply here.
As almost always youz can find the information you need in the ArchWiki, the first place to look when you have problems with Arch.
