Arabic letters problem in yahoo messenger for Unix

hi..

i've downloaded the yahoo messenger for linux and the problem is when i type or receive arabic letters it will b just rubbish and no real letters !!! altough i can type and read the arabic letter in fire fox and txt files....

Dude, use the in-built messengers like Internet messenger OR Pidgin OR Gaim!

ok i've heard about pidgin as a good messenger....so can u tell me where can i get it and how to install it?? coz it will b my first software installatoin in linux hhhh and i think it's not like the windows ...

Which OS do you use? Many OS's have it in-built,as I already mentioned it.

Then, check out in the Internet list. What messengers you have? You can use Internet messenger for any protocol (Yahoo, Gtalk, MSN etc.)! If not, download Pidgin for Mandriva (search on google).
