Aptitude Hangs

First off:
I am using Debian Stable (version 8.9).

Now:
This started today, as I was updating my installation of Linux, as usual. It was hanging for about five minutes before it continued.

Question:
Since it was not a Debian source, rather it was an Opera source, was the problem with the Opera source??

Just wondering.

(BTW Opera is an alternative to Chrome/Chromium/Firefox/and every other web browser. I have been using Opera since 2000)

First off:
Debian 8 is now oldstable.

It is well possible that your sources are not up to date anymore.

please post
Code:
cat /etc/apt/sources.list
cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/*

OK, did the upgrade (I hate KDE5, BTW)
It is working fine right now..... struggling with KDE5, though!
