apply preemt_rt, but problems!!!!!!

Well , I have problem and I do not know how to fix it.
I install slackware in a embedded system with minimal configuration ( geode LX , arch x86).
But now I am interesting in apply a preempt_rt patch to enable real time, and this is my problem.
I can not do it in target, so I only can do it in host computer. I compile new kernel image, and when I tried to boot it in target, kernel show a lot of error with modules ( error, desagree with module /lib/modules/modules.dep ).

Then, my question is how can I compile a new kernel and boot it without problems with modules.
Just copy new modules in target???

Best regards.
