Applications starts when logging in..
 
Hi,

When i log in any time,the applications which was left open before the last time i logged in,opens autometically.I have closed all applications and rebooted my PC but i find no difference.


Please help me with this issue.....

Hello masterav,

could you please provide more information. Do you mean X11-applications? which Windowmanager are you using? which applications do you mean (examples please).

Your desktop environment (Gnome/KDE/XFCE) is set to remember what you have open when you log out, and restart it. Look in your desktop environment's options to turn this off.

Sorry for the incomplete information...I'm using Centos 5.5 ....kernel 2.6.18-128.el5...KDE...
And applictions includes like (konqueror,firefox,konsole....etc.,)

Hello masterav,

with KDE look at the Program-Menu: "System-Settings"->"System-Administration"->"Startup&Shutdown"->"Session-Management".

Thanks a lot it really works.......But the location is different ....here it is ...

Program menu--->Control center----> KDE components---->Session manager .....where you can fine login tab...where you can make the changes....................
