apple itouch and ubuntu

Hello to everyone,
I am trying to get my ipod itouch 32gb work in Ubuntu but I can't. Is there anyway to get it hooked up.

There are ways, and numerous how-tos that I've seen; you could check out for example this one. I don't own an iPod Touch (it's not iTouch, but just Touch), but like iPhone, you need to "jailbreak" it to be able to use it with Linux software. It has some pros and it does have cons, but read the relevant documentation and decide if you're willing to do it..

The "old" iPods were all simpler, the new ones are getting more difficult all the time. I just wish Apple released a version of iTunes for Linux, so it was possible to use Apple products on Linux without so much extra work..

hi, i borrowed my friends ipod and tried to using nmap to find out its open ports and tried netcat to send stuff to it but nothing would work.
