App start location in KDE

This is a minor irritation. I can not find a way using Mandrake 9.2 and KDE desktop to control the position of a newly started application. They seem to want to start on the top left corner, when the screen will not be filled.

Is there a way to configure KDE to place an app, say bottom right corner of the screen?

I tried it, it works, Thank-you. It seems to be the simple things I search the longest to find.
