apm daemon
 

in connection to my first post, whenever i try to reinstall and boot linux for the first time it gets stuck at the part where it says


restarting system

and then i shut the computer off and try and boot
when i try to boot linux it freezes at

starting up APM daemocan

can anyone help me with this

Try enabling or disabling the power management in your BIOS - that might get you into the system so you can sort out the software issue with apmd.
