apache-ssl throws up errors and will not run

Hi

I been experimenting with apache to set up a proxy server. I got this to work OK for plain http traffic.

I then started to work on https and installed apache-ssl. It installed fine and I was playing around but have screwed something up and it now encounters errors on the httpd.conf file for the ssl version.

I had made a copy of the base modules.conf but forgot to do the same for httpd.conf so can not go back - a lesson learned !

As a linux newbie is there an easy way to completely remove apache-ssl and start again ?

Take a look at the errormessages and comment them out in httpd.conf
removing apache-ssl will not replace httpd.conf
