Apache 403s a .tar.gpg file
Hello all, a newbie apache question:
I've put a gpg'd tarball in my documentroot but attempting to access it creates a 403 error (on the local macine and from a remote host). HTML files in the same directory with the same permissions and user/group work fine. Do I need to change anything to allow access to non-HTML files? The tarball file name is of the format "foobar.tar.gpg". This is on a clean install of FC6 i386. TIA |
Please post your apache config file, and It will be easier to say. I suspect you have some general rule prohibiting all but specific types of files.

I'm assuming that Fedora still uses selinux. Have a look at http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...hlight=selinux, they were getting the same error as yours.
