:Pengy:I found this program "pang" and i can't really figure out how to use it. i'm not sure if my modem is not configured or what i am doing wrong. anyway, if anyone can either tell me what i would need to do to configure my modem or if someone knows any ohter program that would allow me to use AOL as my isp. any help would be very noce thank you.:Pengy:

seems that you want to be trying pengaol, no idea if it's good or not, but it normally crops up each time somone asks this question.

They renamed themselves to "Peng", for legal reasons, so hes got the right app.


Do you have a winmodem? If so, it may not be working.

i'm not really sure if my modem is a winmodem or not, it is a Rockwell Bitmaster 560PCI, is there some way i can tell if it a win modem, or might you happen to know off hand. and if so, what can i do with it to make it work
