anyone know why dell inspiron with ati x1400 doesn't take ubuntu?
i have a dell inspiro with ati x1400 and it doesn't take ubuntu for some reason anyone know why?thanks~ if you do please help me install it~

Do you know which model Inspiron? Also, whuch version of Ubuntu are you attempting to install i.e. 7.04, 7.10 etc...

details--we need DETAILS....What happens when you try to install?
Quick check of Google using "inspiron ati x1400 ubuntu" shows LOTS of hits. See if you can find anything that is similar to your issue.
