Actually I posted this as a half-hearted trick, hoping someone would say yeah, and this is how....
I have searched the entire web about this and it seems you can use the ultimatebootcd-4.11 livecd to install to a usb.
I also found a pendrivelinux tutorial but it uses a windows executable to do it-I have Linux only...
So, anyway-I finally got it working and found a "bug" too!
To fix the bug in UltimateBootCD-4.11-
Go into "images" folder in the iso(extract it), and find the "pcisniffer.igz" and rename it "pcisniff.igz".
That fixes it!
The "mboard5.cfg" file in the "menus" folder says-
"LABEL pcisniffer
MENU LABEL PCISniffer V1.5
KERNEL memdisk
APPEND initrd=/images/pcisniff.igz"
And as I said-in the "images" folder is "pcisniffer.igz"
An easy fix-just rename "pcisniffer.igz" to "pcisniff.igz" and recreate the iso!
To put UBCD on USB is a lengthy tutorial-so ask if you want me to tell you...
