Any utility to write notes and search in notes?
Hi, do you guys know of any Linux utility that is good for letting me jot down notes --simple ones, just a few words, no more than say 50-- but then later on allow me to search through all my notes for certain keywords? I know it sounds like a job for a mini database or a spreadsheet but I don't want to load a huge program for such a simple task. I'd like something lean and fast that has only those functions: New note, Edit note, Search in notes.
I would thereafter -when I have more time- organize and export my notes to a proper database or spreadsheet. BTW, I'm using Kontact on FedoraCore6 right now, so it'd be beautiful if the proposed utility could be compatible with Kontact. BRgds |
K Jots should do it. Under Utilities PIM.
