Any utility to write notes and search in notes?

Hi, do you guys know of any Linux utility that is good for letting me jot down notes --simple ones, just a few words, no more than say 50-- but then later on allow me to search through all my notes for certain keywords? I know it sounds like a job for a mini database or a spreadsheet but I don't want to load a huge program for such a simple task. I'd like something lean and fast that has only those functions: New note, Edit note, Search in notes.

I would thereafter -when I have more time- organize and export my notes to a proper database or spreadsheet.

BTW, I'm using Kontact on FedoraCore6 right now, so it'd be beautiful if the proposed utility could be compatible with Kontact.

BRgds

Tomboy Notes is another utility for jotting brief notes and recalling later using keywords. :Pengy:
