Any subdomain resolves to the main page of the site.

I can enter anything as a subdomain of a and it will show in a browser and display the main page of the site. Normally it would cause an error, and nothing would display.

So I can do

and all this will work and display

How is this working, and how would I change it to the default, correct state?
