Any programs to mix two .wav files into one, wrote in pure C ?

Want to mix two .wav files into a single one, I need some open source code which wrote with pure C. Can somebody recommend one, light weighted one are preferred. Thank you!

The "swiss army knife" of audio processing is SoX, which Wikipedia says is written in C, and is GPL licenced.

There are other audio programs out there too, like audacity. Take a look around.
