k3b is not writing a proper toc when burning audio cds..the discs will burn and play BUT if I try to skip to a particular track when playing it dont work..example put cd in player and select track 3 nothing happens however if I just play the disc it will play straight thru

While it may be true that the TOC is messed up, I think it is more probable that your CD player just doesn't like the brand of mdeia you are using. I've had all kinds of strange prblems go away by trying blank-cds from different manufacturers.

nope not a media issue same discs work fine in nero and have 6 cd/dvd players and same results on all

I don´t have the answer but ...

surely k3b is a wysiwyg front end, and, as such, it´s meant to erradicate gurus and certainly not create them.

cdrecord, the app it sits on, well maybe that has its gurus alright.
