any dealings with Vine Linux

I got a powerbook G4 laptop and I've been trying to find a distro that will work. Tried Fedora 10 but it had some problems so I trying out the Vine linux distro does anyone know much about it

I don't know about Vine, but have you checked Tuxmobil? http://tuxmobil.org/apple.html. There you can see what other people have used and worked with on Apple machines. There is one entry regarding a PowerBook and Vine, but it is in Japanese, and google translate didn't work very well on it. I always thought Yellow Dog Linux was the premier PPC/Apple distro.

Have you tried Yellow Dog Linux? It's built from Fedora specifically for PPC.

I have not tried it someone told not to mess with but at this point I'll give it a shot
