Anti-Virus + Linux + NTFS

Well Linux and Windows are different OS's. This would probably mean their file structures are different.

I have a virus on windows. Getting an anti-virus on linux and using it on the NTFS partition, was an idea suggested on this thread:

Windows >> Linux

What's/Which's the best Anti-Virus software, that I can install on Fedora Core 4 (or higher)?

Is there an Anti-Virus on another Linux OS that may solve the problem more easily?

I find F-port a good virus program. It is available for Linux and windows. Here is a link, it is not distro specific. It runs command line in linux, and once you know how to use it, you can control the direcory structure you need to scan. It is updated frequently enough. There is also KlamAV. I have used it also. Look in your package manager for KlamAV.

You will need write access to the NTFS partition. Write access is improving all the time for NTFS, but is still some what experimental.
