Another Nvidia problem

Hi guys. Could someone tell a noob such as myself how to download the driver from Nvidia.com. I already downloaded the file to my computer tried to run it in the terminal and it says
$ sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-180.22-pkg1.run
sh: Can't open NVIDIA-Linux-x86-180.22-pkg1.run
Is there another way to do this that you guys know of? Any help would be great thanks alot.

Was their a readme with it? That should tell you how to install the driver. If not it might need a bit more then that "can't open" to tell the problem occuring.

you need to $ chmod +755 NVIDIA-Linux-x86-180.22-pkg1.run so its executable , then $ sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-180.22-pkg1.run make sure to do both as root
