anonymous user can not upload file

Hi, I use FC5 and now I am configuring VSFTPD .I read a docs for it but I still can not resolve my problem.I want an anonymous users to uploads file.I added ftp anonymous user and he has right to write in his directory chmod 777 /var/ftp but when connect to ftp server it only can download but not to upload.In vsftp.conf file I put YES all parameters related to anonymous user.The answer from ftp server when try to upload is :
ftp> put scan.txt
local: scan.txt remote: scan.txt
227 Entering Passive Mode (127,0,0,1,195,90)
553 Could not create file.
when I tried this whith a local user it works.
Thanks in advance.

check that you have this option in your file :

write_enable=YES
And from waht you said, you already have these :
Quote:
anonymous_enable=YES
#anon_upload_enable=YES
#anon_mkdir_write_enable=YES
Hope I helped

Thanks for replying .Yes this was done write_enable=YES,as I said in the first post I am able to upload file but with a local user.And when I try to uploads with anonymous
user it is not work.I am wondering if there is something more specific to have done ,when I want anonymous user can uploads.Also anonymous user:ftp has full access to his folder chmod 777 /var/ftp.
I hope to find some solution.Thanks for helping me.

maybe you should change the permissions of all files in the folder, do this by running "chmod -R 777 /xxx/yyy" replacing xxx/yyy with the folder directory.

Can't be of much use since I never got anonymous to work, and never got vsftpd to work outside the local network.

Good Luck.
