Annoying problem in XCDroast, using cdroast-prodvd(DVD burning)

I am on:

RedHat 9
Kernel: 2.4.20-8
AMD XP 2500 (Burton I think)
DVD-Recorder: NEC DVD-Recorder ND3500A IDE
XCDroast version 0.98a15
cdrecord-ProDVD binary version: cdrecord-prodvd-2.01b31-i686-pc-linux-gnu (considering to swap to one of the alpha's though or just a 2.01 version with i586, but I think that i686 should work for me.)

Okay, so I am trying to write a DVD with my newly installed XCDroast and ProDVD combination. I followed all the instructions down to the last word. Used the new key and everything(Although I'm not sure if I can use the i686 binary on my system, *is running AMD XP2500* I don't remember exactly but I think it's a Burton.) Anyway, when I try to burn a DVD I select the 4.7 GB as the disc size, master the tracks(and I know for a fact that the total size is _not_ to big for the disc) and select Master and Write on the Fly(Disc at Once). No the next thing that happens is one of two:

1 - It doesen't detect the DVD+R disc at all, actually it tells me to insert an empty CD+R/RW disc, and then gives me two choices; Continue Anyway and Cancel. When I push Continue Anyway, it asks me if I'm ready to create a single session DVD disc(O.o) and when I click Ok on that one it just pops the DVD out without doing anything.

2 - It tells me that the current recording device(selected CD-R to be more precize) is to small, now it gives the choices to continue and to cancel, and ofcourse, since I know that the DVD is _not_ to small I continue. Then it asks me the same thing about creating a single session DVD, and does the same annoying pop out thing...

Now, there's the log:

Code:

Calling: /usr/lib/xcdroast-0.98/bin/xcdrwrap CDRECORDPRODVD dev= "0,0,0"

I also noticed some error when I run xcdroast from the commandline..

Code:

(xcdroast:8309): Gtk-CRITICAL **: file gtkwidget.c: line 2994 (gtk_widget_event): assertion `WIDGET_REALIZED_FOR_EVENT (widget, event)' failed
I have no idea whatsoever what this means.

I think that I forgot some information here, so if there's something you need or there's something that's unclear just ask for it and I'll try my best to find it for ya ;)
