Annoying message "Syslogd@localhost"

Recently, I've install a Rat Hat Enterprise 4 .
After a successful installation, when I try to open a terminal
it comes up the following message:

Message from syslogd@localhost at Thu Sep 20 12:55:41 2007 ...
localhost last message repeated 31 times

Message from syslogd@localhost at Thu Sep 20 12:56:43 2007 ...
localhost last message repeated 31 times

Message from syslogd@localhost at Thu Sep 20 12:57:45 2007 ...
localhost last message repeated 31 times

It happens every 30min, is there any method I can disable it?

Thanks for your help

What does your /etc/syslog.conf look like? Any logging to console?
