Annot configure ethernet card in new redhat 9.0

Hi all,

I have just installed redhat 9.0 and removed WinXP! However, I cannot get my ethernet card to work.

ifconfig shows the lo only.
Using Network Configuration, I cannot cannot add the hardware. Response comes up with no such device, yet I think I am adding the right one, Intel Ether Express, on a stock Dell 4700.

Any help?

Cheers,
Graeme

All fixed

Hi All,

Could not get the onboard Ethernet card to work, but putting in a 3rd party card worked fine.

Graeme.
