Anaconda in linux

What is the ANACONDA in linux?
what is its utility?
Actually I saw this term several times during the linux installatin.

Anaconda is the name of the installer used by some Linux distros.


PS - try a search for it using LQ's search button at the top of the thread, or Google, for 'Linux Anaconda'
