Amy website to discuss the commercial computer / system product issue

I always drop questions in this forum and get help from you here , very thanks for help .

This forum only discuss linux issue , sometimes I meet system / network problem when system migration , for example , now we are looking for backup product ( ARCserve , Verita etc ) , I may consult the vendor for solution , but they always do not provide the neutral solution as they want to have higher profit , I sometimes find the solution from internet , but it takes time to test the software / system , can advise is there any web site discuss commercial computer / system product issue ? Thanks in advance.

Hi,

we always uses the webistes/forum from the different vendors. I never found a website where all possible commercial products are discussed. Also closed source software does not provide the in-depth information as an open source product provides, which is IMHO the most common problem.

Hello,

If you're looking for alternative software packages you might want to have a look at http://www.osalt.com.

On the other hand if you're looking for a product discussion, I find it easier to just put your question here on LinuxQuestions. With the amount of users on LQ I'm sure someone can help you out with your question.

You could also try Google, depending on how you ask your question you can get some pretty good results out of it.

Kind regards,

Eric
