amule problem

It will no longer connect to servers...It connects then disconnects...over and over. I was thinking of uninstall and re-install....but I have no idea how to un-install programs from linux. I wish there was a RPM for Limewire(FC1)

Did you install aMule with an RPM or from the source code?

Try opening up the required ports in your firewall/router.

That will fix the problem

I had the same problem with aMule when I installed. I fixed the problem by allowing the use of the ports 4662 and 4672 , if I'm not wrong, (anyway, read the aMule documentation, it specifies which ports you must allow).
