Amarok player not playing the mp3 ?

Hi, I recently installed kubuntu 9.10 in my desktop, the amarok and dragon players are not playing the mp3 songs and videos.....can any one help

The codecs needed to play mp3 files are not free and are not included in the standard install in most distro's. You'll need to download and install them separately.

medibuntu repository should be enabled first.
