Amarok doesnt play mp3
 
Does anybody know how to play mp3 with Amarok? I've been trying to play mp3 with it but it doesnt play it. Is there a config that I need to set up?

To be able to play mp3s, you'll need the proper codecs. Which distribution are you using? You should enter the distribution you're using in your profile to make it easier for people to help you.

I am using OpenSuSE 10.2. Where can I get the codecs?:scratch:

The SuSE versions were compiled without mp3 support.

Go to the Novel/SuSE forum on this site. There is a sticky on adding a packman repository in "yast2 inst_source".
Uninstall the version you have and install the version from the Packman site. The same goes for xmms, xine, mplayer and audacity.

In YaST2, you can filter by repository. A second filter appears where you can use a search as before.
