Amarok and Mysql..help!

I have a fairly large collection of music, and sql-lite (default) seems to be giving me issues. I want to use mysql instead. So..I installed MySql..and then through the collection tab in amarok...I filled in the needed info. For hostname..I put localhost. I left the default port as-is. Name: Amarok. For username, I put my linux user and pass.

I hit apply and get:

MySQL reported the following error:
Access denied for user 'ravencrow@localhost' (using password: YES)

You can configure MySQL in the collection section under Settings->Configure amaroK.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Do you have an account set up in MySQL? can you do

mysql -uyourname -p -h localhost

note the lack of a space after -u
if you have no password, remove -p
