Am i the only one that can't print under SUSE10?

So I got my SUSE10 installed, loving it so far as it's nice and useable, and pretty, etc etc. How ever I keep having to save a document, email it to myself, boot into windows to print it. Quite frustrating I'm sure you can assume. I'm using a Dell Photo Printer 720. And before you ask it is the printer issued by work. I asked a co-worker about it who also uses SUSE (i'm quite new to admin world if you were curious) and he said he had to trick the driver but would not go into anything past that. Asside from that I can't get it on any of the network printers. Is it even possible to print under linux with out knowing how to code and compile your own drivers?

This printer is a rebranded lexmark z series printer. Get the drivers from the lexmark page. They work fine.

well i installed every driver i could find and still nothing =P Does not even show my printer any more. No way to find out what my printer was since they have no photo 720 figured i'd play it safe. Why is linux good again? Can't be that hard to print through a usb printer.
