hi all, i've let this problem rest for a little while.
but know i really need this to work! i still get this error when quotacheck is run:

/etc/init.d/quota restart
* Stopping quota... [ ok ]
* Checking quotas (may take a while)...
quotacheck: Can't find filesystem to check or filesystem not mounted with quota
option. [ ok ]
* Starting quota... [ ok ]

if you read above you can see i've read the guide and tried several things to get this working.
i was hoping someone is still able to help me?

greets Hum4ngus

Hello everybody,

i figured out my problem!

i'm posting it here so people with the same problems i had can fix it too!

ok the problem was i was using reiserFS as filesystem on /
that partition was around 100 gb's, i split it up in two partitions (each 50gbs) and then i made both partitions use ext3 as filesystem.
i had to reinstall all my programs and stage etc, but if you've done it before it shouldn't be much of a problem.

then just use this to set up quota's!
