Alternative to Chromium OS?

I have tried to get chromium os to install on several older computers that I own, and it just never seems to work right. I have tried the newest builds and the old lime builds, and the best results I have ever had was actually getting it to start but moving slower than a dead slug.

So are there any other really lightweight, browser based Linux distros I can try? The only other one I have ever found as joli os but I wouldn't mind trying something else. Any thoughts?

Have you tried one of Hexxeh's builds? <http://chromeos.hexxeh.net/>
