alternative of idesk?

idesk seems like not working for me. I got some message like,
"terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::ios_base::failure'
what(): basic_filebuf::underflow error reading the file
Aborted"

I want to know are there any alternative of idesk software for fluxbox?

Contact the maintainer for questions about the code.
Ask about changes. Ask about where the inspiration for the project came from.

ROX Filer can handle your desktop icons and the wallpaper (just install RF and add the line rox --pinboard=MyPinboard to your start up script).
