ALSA Problem
Okay, now I'm using Slack and I have gotten ALSA to work no problem (like sounds play and they sound fine and everything) however, whenever I try and load StepMania (the DDR Emulator that can be found here it gives me this error:
ALSA Driver: 0: SiS SI7012 [SI7012], device 0: Intel ICH [SiS SI7012], 1/1 subdevices avail Couldn't load driver ALSA9: Driver unusable (not enough hardware buffers) Sound driver: ALSA9-sw And the sound is all choppy, which is rather crucial considering its a rhythm game and all :P. I'm not running any other programs that are using my sound card so I'm wondering what on earth is up? |

what kind of sound card do u have? it doesn't sound like u have it configured right to me. for some older non pnp devices u have to specify the port, irq, and dma channel.

I have a 00:02.7 Multimedia audio controller: Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS] SiS7012 PCI Audio Accelerator (rev a0) (woo for lspci), how would I go about configuring my card? I'm running Slack 9.1 if that is important info
