ALSA drivers howto?

hi all!

when i open xmms and change the driver to alsa it gives me an error saying that driver not found (sory i have to communicate through windows) but i look in the path and it seems to be there. what is goin on? is there an RPM that i can download to fix it?

In the $PATH? Not sure what you mean by that, but the ALSA driver is a loaded module in the kernel. Check:
To see if your ALSA drivers are listed for you card.
