Allowing VPN traffic via squid proxy server
Hey all,
I need to make a scene as below-- PC----->squid->>>>Cisco VPN-->>>>Cisco VPN2--->>>PC Means i need to connect my existing VPN with one of my location but the i need to put one proxy(squid ) for my network Can any one help me out in this as squid is working fine now in my network but its not allowing me to even ping to the other vpn location. Thanks in advance Ravi |
Well whta is the configuration for the VPN's? what kind are they - IPSEC? SSL? What is the routing for them? Are the relevant networks permitted or denied by the firewall rules? If you expect help you need to give useful information.

Well thanks for the reply .. Yea its IPSEC VPNs and routing is static i.e. peer to peer.(Cisco to cisco)...Yes they are permitted as when i am not using the proxy setting for PC then i can easily access to both the VPNs.. Is there any settings for the proxy server to allow this. Meanwhile i have tried one more thing that i removed the gateway of the PC and set the browsers for the proxy so VPNs websites are working but i can not ping to the VPN site PCs and when i ping it,it gives destination host unreachable error Please help me in this.. Thanks in advance.. Rak |
