After the kernel upgrade to 3.11 is not connected to the Internet via WiFi


I'm from Russia and understand English very badly. On the Russian-speaking forums could not help me, can anyone help here. Laptop HP Pavilion 4000er, Wi-fi adapter broadcom BCM4313, put ubuntu, updated the kernel to 3.11, updated the drivers. access points is seen , writes that is connects, but no Internet connection. Tried to connect via the smartphone is configurеd in Mode Ad-hoc, too, in the Internet does not come out....

What have you tried to do to solve the problem? Perhaps re installing the firmware for the broadcom driver would help. Another thing you cand do is boot your system using the previous kernel that you were using before. Keep in mind that the OS was put together to work with the kernel that is deployed with.

Thank you all. After reading various sources realized that this adapter will not work normally. The problem is solved by the purchase of another adapter. Broadcom is very bad working with new Linux kernels
