After Tarball then what ?

Hi there all -

Can you help me ?
I finally got A file off a CD onto my disk into a new directory using Tar with the bzipp2 format...

Now the file I loaded was from a
linuxFormart Magazine No 51D March , with the file name name being
AdvancedBashScriptingGuide

Now I have 293 files into the new directory , with some of the file names
abs-book.sgml , add-drive.sh , basics-reviewed.bash , bubblle.sh . etc ,etc.

All I want to do is to access the Bash Guide .. What do i do from here ?

Is the bash guide a text file, an HTML page or what? The files ending .sh are shell scripts that you can run in sh or bash and the files ending .bash are probably executable shell scripts just for bash.

I suspect its an HTML file because the main file is named :

abs-book.sgml = stands for I guess
|
AdvancedBashScriptingGuide .
