after installing "seawolf' keep asking for a login user and a password....
 
Dear Sirs!

After installing "seawolf' it keep asking for a login user and a password....but when i provide it from the info which i input from the beginning of installation it won't accept it.......and the display is blinking

Unless you have a valid reason for using Seawolf may I suggest that you use a more modern version of Linux.

However, if you must use Seawolf then try this:
Reboot.
At the boot prompt, get into run level 1 with
"Linux 1". Then at the prompt type "passwd root" and enter a new password for root.

Actually i'm looking for the right/more user friendly flavor for me.
sirs, can you give feedback on Linuxmint or openSUSE,. yup i think i have to leave behind seawolf. sorry for the confusion...anyway.........thanks jkim
