after installation ns2 i face problem during running and example on fedora 13

when i use to run commad "ns example1a.tcl"then this statement is displyed

ns: finish: couldn't execute "nam": permission denied
while executing
"exec nam out.nam &"
(procedure "finish" line 7)
invoked from within
"finish"

wating foryourreply/answer....

Welcome to LQ.

Assume /home/<name>/ns-allinone-2.xx/.
If not installed somewhere in /home/<name>/ : Better reinstall.
And please do no commands as root, while installing.
'su' can only be used when you copy 'nam' (and 'ns') to /usr/local.

cd ns-allinone.2.xx/nam-1.1x/ ; su ; make install && exit
... This will copy the binary 'nam' to /usr/local/bin/,
and thus be in a system PATH.

More questions ? Then please specify the "ns-allinone-2.xx" version.

ive done same au u asked..! bt its still not working it gve the same answer that ive psoted before..!! plzz if u hve any answer then reply me. beacz it really create problem in my project..! im stuck beacaz of this.. help me out.. thanksss..

Also, is there any particular reason you are using fc13? It no longer supported as fc16 is about to drop.
