After installation I get, Error 25: Disk read error, Press any key to continue ...
I have just assembled my computer and installed Fedora 13. After rebooting I get Error 25: Disk read error, Press any key to continue. When I do that the systems goes back to the GRUB window where I continue to press enter and it goes back to the error after a while. Please help.

first check your BIOS settings and make sure all your hard drives are set to 'AUTO'

if it still not working ,in the grub cli type:
Code:
find /boot/grub/stage1
it's gonna give you a list of hdx...,for exemple hd0
then type
type quit and reboot.

Thanks for the reply but it still does not work. the find /boot/grub/stage1 brings back Error 15 file not found. What else can I do??

it's either a GRUB problem or BOIS problem
first insert the installation cd and try the rescue mode.
if it doesn't work then check you bios , some motherboards bios cannot deal with extended partitions on more modern HD.

I had the same problem as mataitsane on my OpenSuSE 12.1 machine, and it appeared just like he said, I corrected it by going to rescue mode and running
and it solved everything.
