Affordable Partitioning Tool needed!

I can't use the existing partitioning tool in my distro CD because I can't find my MIRROR and IMAGE file. And PartitionMagic is a little ...... pricey. Any other recommendations about Partition Tools and where to get them?

Any bootable Linux CD should contain fdisk and its easy to use pendat cfdisk

If you want to resize partitions, most distributions come with resizing-tools during setup.
You can always use these tools for resizing / repartitioning your HDs without further installion of distributions you donīt want

I think you are looking for "parted"... it can resizes/create almost anything... you can also use an extension tool called resize-reiserfs to perform operations on Reiser partitions. boots from a floppy

I would also suggest taking a look at BootIT NG -- J.W.
