Hi,
I am installing Redhat linux on my machine which has 2 harddrives, I was wondering what the best advice is for partitioning,etc... thank you |
That would depend upon the use of the computer (not detailed in question) so maybe these will help.

Hi royals1216
If your "1st" hard drive is connected as master to your primary IDE controller then Red Hat will recognise it as /dev/hda just let Red Hat AUTOMATICALLY partition the existing free space on /dev/hda make sure Red Hat partitions and installs on /dev/hda - NOT - /dev/hdb or /dev/hdc ie you want it on your 1st hard drive good luck |
