Advanced Server 2.1


Hi

Simple question fot you guys im sure but here it goes.

I'm running RH advanced server 2.1 with GNOME and I need for the GUI to display. All I have right now is the prompt and I have no idea how to execute the GUI. Can you help me out?

startx

That is the command for starting the X windows server.

If you want it to boot into GNOME, edit /etc/inittab and change the default from Multi-User to X. Come back with any more questions!
