adsl USB modem on red hat 9.0

ok here's the thing: i have tried for MONTHS for someone to tell me how to do this and NO ONE knows! unbelieveble!

I have a LAN with 2 computers that are directly connected with a ethernet cable, and i want to connect to the internet with an USB connection using the Zoom X4 ADSL modem in red hat 9.0 like i do in windows.
but no one seems to know how to do that. and i know for a fact that in can be done, the manual of the modem says it can. only i follow the instructions but it still does not work.

how do i do this??
