Question adsl modem fedora 4

i am a newabie trying to get my new version of fedora core4 connected to the internet. I have a adsl 330 broadband modem used for xp.

I found posts with commands etc and files (tar) to doewnload so fedora can run the modem but ihave no idea how. Can someone guide me through it in simpler terms. i.e how i need to save the files when im in windows so ican open it in fedora.

Moved: This thread is more suitable in Linux-Newbie and has been moved accordingly to help your thread/question get the exposure it deserves.

It's hard to replace your situation without knowing which model is it exactly (330 is probably model number, but we don't know who's the vendor). If you have links to files, download them. Now, if your Fedora does mount WIndows partition, you don't have to do anything more and you'll be able to access them from Linux just like that.

If not, you need to install package with NTFS support. How to do this is written in detals here:
