please can some one tell me how to acsess the internet on my fedora box, ive run the configuration wizard, tried rebooting and searched the redhat website?

Please be alot more specific. What exactly is the problem, why won't it work, what type of modem you have (usb, ethernet). Can't do anything with what you posted before. Also the name of the modem would be helpful.
sorry a speed stream modem (ethernet) the problem is that it won't connect to the internet, the traffic light won't blick and pages won't load in modzilla or kde ive tried the adsl-setup rebooted but nothing
Is your network card up and working? To check just do # ifconfig. It should return something like eth0. You need to get this up and running before you use rp-pppoe (the program that uses adsl-setup, adsl-start, adsl-status etc...). Otherwise pppoe will have nothing to communicate through.
i tried the ifconfig, it gave me a bunch of stats, id give them to you but i'm no on that computer, it basicly said it was up and running, # of packets that had been sent, collisons so on
