adsl and suse 9.0
 

I can't seem to get my adsl connection to work with suse9.0.I'm using a d-link pci ethernet card and a linksys ethernet modem. I had it working previously, but had to do a reinstall and forgot what I did to get it working last time. (Something to do with assigning an IP to the nic card etc.) I'm using Telus adsl. Thanks for any help.

you can just configure it under YAST2, Network---> ADSL, input your account and password by following the steps, and it will ask you whether you want to dial up at boot time or not.
when the KDE desktop enviroment is initialized, you will find a tiny icon in the right down of the taskbar. you can interrup it by a mouse click.
